A True Santa Fe Original
The Plaza Cafe Downtown, Santa Fe’s oldest restaurant, has been serving authentic New Mexican dishes and classic comfort food since 1905. Located just steps from the Santa Fe Plaza, we’ve become a favorite for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in downtown Santa Fe.
In 1947, Dan Razatos, a Greek immigrant with an American dream, took over the Plaza Cafe. Together with his wife Beneranda, a Santa Fe local, they built a family-run restaurant that continues to serve generations of locals and visitors today. Their legacy lives on through recipes, hospitality, and a deep connection to the Santa Fe community.
